A little under a month ago, a very unique project was announced on Kickstarter. 35 of the original artists from the beginning of Magic the Gathering had gotten together to create a book celebrating their work and the history of the game. The Gathering project was fully funded within 22 hours, and currently stands over $90,000 above the intial fundraising targets. Since announcement, the book has grown by over 20 pages, boasts an expanded bonus section and can come with unique sketches from the artists involved.
